Passport on a Mission

My mission is to share two of my passions, traveling & cycling, while inspiring women globally to seek out fun and adventure through exercise, especially on a bike.  My plan is to have a camera crew follow my adventures and document my journeys on film.  A TV show will be created and a book written about my adventures cycling around the world, and my hope is that a network will sign this project so women around the world can be motivated to get out, explore and exercise.

I'm currently working hard to make my 1st expedition, Cycling the Mediterranean & More with Elizabeth, happen by the end of this summer.  I'm seeking a network to pick up this project, sponsors to fund it, and an agent to help make it all happen.  I've had some crazy weeks leading up to this moment, but I've learned a lot and have faith and believe that this project is happening.

The 1st part of my Mediterranean adventure will be riding 500 miles in 7 days on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage trail in Spain.  I've ordered travel guides, maps and a video about the Camino so I could learn more about the trail and the experience.  Once I decided the Camino was where I'm headed for the 1st leg of my expedition, I requested my Camino passport, the Credencial del Peregrino, from the American Pilgrims on the Camino organization, and was so excited when it arrived in the mail.  The passport is stamped along the Camino trail at refugios, albergues, hotels, police stations, bars, etc.  By the time I get reach to the cathedral and the shrine of St. James in Santiago de Compostela, my passport will be filled.  Then I'll receive my last stamp and be given my Compostela, a certificate stating that I was a pilgrim who journeyed the Camino de Santiago from St. Jean Pied au Port, France all the way to Santiago de Compostela, Spain.  I'm so excited about this journey and the impact that it will make on women.  Tonight I came across my Credencial del Peregrino and thought I'd share it with you so you could get excited too. :-)
